Springfield Veterinary Services was born from a belief that vet med could feel better for the animals, the clients, and the people delivering the care.
Care that goes deeper than the diagnosis.
After graduating vet school in 2010, Dr. Christina worked in clinics across the spectrum… from supportive to straight-up broken.
She saw what burnout did to good people. How patient care could fall unprioritized and clients unheard. How leadership got quiet and communication fell apart.
She loved the animals. She loved the medicine. But the system? It needed to change.
So she built something new. This mobile veterinary practice is rooted in honesty, mental health, and real relationships.
- Dr. christina Wagner,
DVM and FOUNDER of SVS
This practice wasn’t designed for speed. It was designed for connection.
We’re a mobile mixed-animal practice serving small towns, barns, living rooms, and everything in between. We bring compassionate, competent care directly to you.
We take time to explain things. We prioritize prevention. We say “I’m not sure” when that’s the truth and then we find out. Because you, your animal, and real vet advice matters.
We believe that boundaries make care better, honesty builds trust, and the best veterinary medicine is delivered with a little joy, even on the hard days.
We’re not here to be flashy. We’re here to be the kind of vet you want on your speed dial. The one who shows up, cares deeply, and does it well.
Springfield Veterinary Services was built to feel different… on purpose.
She earned her veterinary degree from Iowa State University in 2010 after completing her undergraduate studies at South Dakota State University in 2005. A lifelong animal lover, her path to vet med began in high school while shadowing a small-town mixed-animal practice where she first saw the deep impact of caring for both animals and the people who love them. That early lesson — that the human–animal bond can’t be undervalued — continues to guide her work today. Dr. Wagner brings over a decade of experience to her mobile practice, where she delivers compassionate, honest care to pets, horses, and livestock across rural Minnesota.

No waiting rooms. No dragging your dog into the clinic or hauling horses in a trailer. Just honest, grounded care delivered where you are.
We’re a mobile veterinary practice which means we bring the care (and the calm) straight to your doorstep, pasture, or paddock.
YEp. We come to YOU.
Getting to serve our patients like this (animals and people) - is part of why we love what we do!
Step One:
Give us a call (and leave a voicemail) or send a text with a brief synopsis of what's going on with your animal. We will give you a call back to schedule our visit.
Step Two:
On the day of your appointment, we roll up fully equipped and ready to treat your pet in their own environment, whether that’s your driveway or your barn aisle.
Step Three:
We explain every step, talk through options, and make sure you feel clear about next steps. No pressure, no confusion, just care that fits your life.
